Jerry Jensen:

Current: Commissioner at Oklahoma Merit Protection (MPC). 
June 2002 – Present (8 years 10 months)
Appointed by the Governor to serve as one of 9 Commissioners forthe Oklahoma MPC. The commission enforces the merit provisions for employees ofthe State of Oklahoma.This is a non-paid position and he serves  at the pleasure of the Governor.

November 1992 – July 2009 (16 years 9months-retired);  February 14, 2011 throughpresent(temporary appointment).
As a university executive officer,Jerry  serves on the staff of thePresident of the University. He is responsible for all investigations andpolicies relating to equal opportunity for staff, faculty and students. His  jurisdiction covered the Norman campus, Health SciencesCenter in Oklahoma City, Cameron University in Lawtonand the OU Tulsa campus.

Jerry served as the Area Director of the Oklahoma City AreaOffice; Acting Area Director of the San Diego Area Office; Compliance Manager inthe Houston District Office.  He servedas a training instructor to new investigators and to the national investigativestaff when the EEOC assumed jurisdiction for the ADEA and EPA.

Jerry  began his  employment as a Federal Investigator assignedto the Wage and Hour Division Baton Rouge Area Office. He transferred to Boise, Idaho in 1973where he served as the sole representative of the Wage and Hour Division forthe entire state of Idaho and the eastern halfof Oregon. Hewas promoted to Assistant Area Director of the Kansas City Office in 1976.
